Main functions the SMSGate.3 server: Reception and sending SMS messages via database servers; Sending SMS messages in a batch mode from command line; SMS content analysis and ability to conduct predetermined actions: - external application call transferring to it the SMS message fields as parameters; - sending SQL-query to an external database with substitution into the query the SMS message fields. (The actions are implemented as open-interface-based COM components). Notification for connected clients on new SMS messages; Ability to receive the SMS delivery confirmation message; Interacting via SMPP protocol with GSM operator SMS center; Using SMS reception rules depending on sender phone number prefix, keywords in SMS message, device used to receive the SMS message; SMS message delivery to rule-indicated users; Using SMS sending rules depending on destination phone number prefix; Sending SMS messages via rule-defined devices according to their priority and availability; Distinguishing access rules and SMS reception-sending rules; Support for Cyrillic and Latin alphabets. For creation of new user COM-components, is available a software package for developers - SMSGate.3 SDK.
